probably so.
Probably going to see another upstanding friend or family member at Angola

I’m not on FB but there appears to be a Nicholas Alexander form Lafayette that could fit the bill.

All this hate for drivers is ridiculous. If I was driving a tractor (a slow moving vehicle) on the highway and do often, I’m required to use an escort with flashing lights. And I do this every time. Why dont bikers have to follow the same rules while moving slowly in a kane of traffic?? They are less visible than a damn tractor.

All of these cyclists have a death wish.

First and foremost, my condolences to Buddy Amoroso's family and friends, and prayers for a full recovery for the other rider, physically and emotionally.
But I personally would never ride anything going 15-25 miles per hour in the same space where other much larger vehicles routinely and legally travel at least 2 to 3 times my speed. I know I have the legal right to do so, but the risk of an getting hit is too high, and the consequences of getting hit too great to take that chance.
I'm not criticizing those who do choose to ride in these conditions. They have the right to do so, and drivers have the responsibility to operate their vehicles safely. But when things go terribly wrong, as they too frequently do, rights and responsibilities are nothing more than talking points, while crippling injuries and worse are very real.

That kid is named Nicholas? Surprising to say the least. With his record and the act in the pic we’re looking at, I wouldn’t be surprised if he hit them on purpose. Most people would break after hitting one biker, he bulldozed through two in a row

I've never seen a tractor escorted on a county road or a FM road in Texas. I'm not sure about highways here, but a tractor is almost always heavier than a car and bigger. So maybe the size and speed are a factor.

That road is awful. 20 miles to no where, 60mph but most go faster, constant ups and downs, sharp turns, narrow, deep woods surrounding, very steep drops on both sides along most of it. People drive off it drunk all the time. It’s relativley busy on weekends and throughout the week during shift changes at the prison. No one in their right mind should bike that road. People unfamiliar with it are scared to drive it/pass other cars on it half the time because it’s only ever a few seconds you can see far enough ahead and you’re going pretty fast. There’s no where to pull off on the side and the hills on it are not typical of Louisiana highways
