I've liked a lot of the suggestions so far. This inspires creativity.
Pepper spray to the face, and reload maybe with straight ghost pepper hot sauce, would be delightful.
A plastic bag intermittently tied over the head would work, too.

I like the double-down approach - don't rescue them from the gluing. Bolt a chain and cuffs to the floor and cuff them up to stay there until they dry up.

Makes as much sense as professional athletes protesting --if not publicly professing their hatred of--the American flag, national anthem and the entire USA because of a handful of deadly incidents involving white police and black criminals who are too stupid to realize you don't physically fight with police officers without risking your life.
