SA has been on the decline, as a country, for a good 30+ years. Apartheid was extremely devastating for SA both culturally and economically. Most of the western world slapped embargos on SA during apartheid. It forced them to become super independent and inventive. 20 years ago they had great hospitals, shopping, roadways etc. Sad to see the country degrade like this. I have some good friends in CT who are salt of the earth good people. At the same time the most hateful people I have ever run across in my life was a white SA husband and wife from J-burg. Skin color made zero difference to them. If you didn't speak Afrikaans you were just inferior.

I know a ton of SA Boers here in the delta who come to work on farms. There are grain trucks around flying SA flags on the mirrors
Almost all are very good people. Hard workers. 10x better than your average American male and tough as nails. They are what Americans and Europeans used to be before half became soy cucks and another 25% are obese and a cheeseburger away from a heart attack
