Dumbass pulling a bush hog knocked my power out for 8 hours today.

I live on a golf course. They pay some clown to run a tractor to mow the fringes that back up to homes. This morning at about 10, Jethro hits an electrical box behind my fence and rips it out of the ground. My power was out for over 8 hours.
But hey, at least I know my new generator works.
One of my points, and I forgot most of them because I’m drunk, is that you CANNOT GET ENTERGY ON THE PHONE. You literally cannot get a live human being. frick them.

I work from home three days a week. I found out my cable line was run from the utility pole in my neighbor's yard to my property line above ground when my neighbor (who just moved in) mowed over the line when I was in the middle of a meeting.
Thankfully I channeled my inner cable dawg and spliced that shite after a quick trip to Home Depot then had a pleasant conversation with the fricktards at Spectrum.
They were convinced they couldn't run an aerial. My threat of legal action convinced them otherwise.

I retired from them a few years ago. They used to brag about having a top notch costumer service. They’ve always been full of shite??
