Most of the offenders I see are people with older vehicles installing their own LED's and not properly calibrating the aim. It's not all that easy and you need a dark place and a wall to do it.

I’ve heard of these gangs. They also hang out in mall parking lots under cars and cut your ankles when you get out of your car.

It is LED lights on newer cars. I have the same problem. Even younger people say that the lights hurt their eyes and are blinding.

A lot of new cars have auto high beams. I was driving a loaner Lexus GX with a friend and the damn car kept brighting people. My buddy was giving me shite … “hell I’m not doing it!” We had to get into the car settings to turn it off.

I work for a FedEx contractor and we all start packing it in before it gets real dark out there. Those packages can wait til tomorrow. I’m not risking my life for someone’s Walmart box.
Come on, man I can't wait to get my hands on this phone case, and I've been checking the shipping status every twenty minutes, for three days.

This. It’s not the brightness, it’s the misaligned lights.

And checking headlight alignment used to be the one part of the LA state inspection process that had some real benefit to motorists. But it's no longer part of the process.

For the longest time I didn't highbeam them because I figured it wasn't really their fault. Then I decided they need to know their headlights are shite and they need to do something about it. Giv'em the shine!

Yep. They hide under your vehicle and slit your Achilles tendon as you step out of the driver seat. Hope you wear some thick socks.

Eye doctor told me this week that at my age if 40, the lens in your eye starts a hardening process. Most everything else is genetic based, but not those lens. Age 40 is when you start seeing the process start

It always pisses me off. All the LED lights in new cars makes it look like the high beams are always on. I can't ever see well. I have a fricking 2013 Sonata so obviously I can't do it back without the high beams.

I see this often too. I've come up on so many cars on I-10 in Houston traffic with no freaking lights on.

I’m against most forms of government regulation, in my perfect world ideally we’d be a libertarian society. However someones gotta do something ab this at some point.

I commute almost 50 mins to work and 50 back home again every day. Decent stretch of dark 2 lane highway this time of year.

This scenario happens to me 2-5 times a trip. Blinded isn’t an exaggeration you literally can’t see until you pass the people.

Most newer cars with led headlights have auto-highs so even if you have them on, if there are other cars around the lights stay on low. No one thinks about that though. Even people with newer vehicles that have them as well still flash their brights at perceived offenders.
