Drive to work one morning, and find out you that can't get your car back for 3+ months

Wow that does sound like a nightmare scenario. Someones insurance should be covering the rentals though

I do a lot of work in parking garages, some needle dick popping a post tension cable is my worst nightmare.

Someone's insurance absolutely should be covering the cost of rental cars for all those affected by this negligence.

#1 - Personal car ownership overall net negative to well-being
#2 - Dangerous to drive
#3 - Obesity
#4 - Air Quality
#5 - Cost
#6 - Noise Pollution

#8 - Props up a corrupt insurance and ambulance chase industry
#9 - Creates a psychological barrier between yourself and other drivers
You are absolutely correct that this is really low on the list.

I enjoy all my cars and truck. Each has a specific purpose and all are fun.

That happened in New Orleans at the adjacent parking garage when the Hard Rock collapsed.
However, I don't remember how long it took them to allow people to retrieve their vehicles.

There’s probably some really really fine print about park at your own risk that they’ll hang their hat on. It’ll go back and forth in a lower court for a while. Eventually there will be a settlement. Each car owner will get a few hundred bucks. Lawyers will get alot.
