Nice jeans (cleaned and pressed with a razor sharp crease and tons of starch if you are really country), gator skin boots with matching belt, pressed dress shirt tucked in and a blazer. You can always remove the jacket at the reception to dress down. It's always better to be over dressed than under dressed. Cowboy themed does not equal trashy.

For a wedding I’d tuck the shirt into the pants. But, if you have a big gut, it would look better if you went untucked.

1. Wear a Columbia fishing shirt. 2. Leave untucked. 3. Profit.

I wonder will the wedding party be changing into their "Hey dudes" for the reception given in an overly renovated barn?

At some point tucked in looks like you are shoplifting pork loins

If it's not tucked in, it's not a dress shirt.
Tuck it in.

The only wedding where tucking is optional for guests is one on the beach.

Well to be honest, it sounds like the kind of wedding where everybody's gonna be drunk as frick probably relatively quickly. Tucking it in may make you look like you're trying too hard.

Tucked. But more importantly are you wearing a straw or a felt hat?

Weddings call for felt cowboy hat with tucked in dress shirt and leather vest. You will be stylin' and profilin'

Tucked. A dress shirt is literally designed to be tucked in.

very cowboy themed

Even though this sounds a little on the hick side of things, a respectable cowboy would have his shirt tucked.

Sounds like a bunch of hair gel slicked down with those spider leg bangs hanging down.

Be a respectable man, and present yourself well at an event like a wedding. No matter how casual it is. I'd much rather be over put together than looking like a slob.

Replace the guns with horses and you're pretty close.

How is this a debate? You always tuck in a dress shirt.

Whatever feels more comfortable

If its outside and warm, definitely untucked

I don't see any untucked shirts. Do you?
