This is totally ducking nuts but we bought a tub filler from Amazon for around 1500 bucks about a month ago. It was the wrong finish so we sent it back and just grabbed one locally. After a week and no credit, nothing I called them they said they go it next day but because it was so expensive they had to make sure all parts would be in the box would take another 3 to 5 days. Two weeks go by, call again they are clueless and no one had authority to approve a return that expensive? (1500 bucks WTF? ) promise it will be resolved in another week. Another week call again, same shite guy promises to call me back next day. Another week call again they finally say it’s being refunded. Another week still not back on the card.

I probably buy 1500 dollars worth of shite a month from Amazon and have never had issue like this. And it’s not a vender it’s from Amazon.

So be careful I would stay away from them for anything over 1000 bucks because apparently they plan on keeping your money a few months at least.

Anyone else have issue like this on big purchase?

Most I've ever spend was like $500 on single item.

But I know their returns dept is full of fraud. Not necessarily from them but from people returning stuff. I have a bit of a side hustle buying shite off Amazon warehouse and reselling on ebay.

When I get the stuff I inspect it and about 20% isn't even the item I supposedly bought. The same product but has been switched out with an off brand for the name brand I ordered.

I've stopped buying Warehouse automotive parts altogether because of this. The rate on that stuff was probably 40% switched items. The difference in a Bosch O2 sensor and some shite you buy at the parts store is massive.

It’s some shite my wife wanted, basically a fancy faucet for a stand alone tub. We are in middle of major bathroom renovations. Week 8

Maybe don't buy something that's supposed to color match over the internet?

You should hang out with the poster that changed banks because after the fraud department wanted to investigate before reversing a charge.

The bank loves to hold that money for 3-5 days on every credit card refund.

If you buy any kind of Apple accessories, ps4 or xbox remotes, it’s more likely than not that it’s fake. I ordered a ps4 controller last year around Christmas and sent it back 3 different times before amazon sent me one that was authentic.

Is this a brag or "I'm fricking a corpse" confession?
