yup.
bought a laptop from amazon 6 years ago
it was stolen/taken/not received, despite it saying delivered.
reported it. amazon said call UPS and deal with them
they were like oh it was delivered, blah blah.
not even 1 hr later it goes "delivered to front porch, signature signed"
i end up getting the box the following day, re-taped, literally its the sony z box with the shipping label on it (way to ship something and say hey its a $1200 laptop steal me!!)
amazon said tough luck
had to go through amex to get the $ back

Is this a brag or "I'm fricking a corpse" confession?
It’s just a day in the life of most OTers.

You can get nice shite from restoration hardware. And their customer service is great.

How on earth did anyone fricking read that...

Why not dispute it with your credit card? They’re much easier to work with when communication breaks down with the vendor.

If Amazon is giving you this much shite, then why in the hell haven't you called your credit card company and tell them to deny the charge.
I had a similar back-and-forth (multiple emails) issue with another online seller and after 14 days of neither getting my order nor a refund I called AmEx. After telling them the story they said not to worry about it. Money was back on my card before I went to bed that night and any emails I got from the seller I forwarded straight to the AmEx fraud department. They handled everything and I never had another worry about it.

A faucet on amazon? It's better to go and pick that up after seeing in person.

. I ordered a ps4 controller last year around Christmas and sent it back 3 different times before amazon sent me one that was authentic.
How can you tell?
