Awesome endorsement.

nerdy white guys can't like drugs?

and yes, it sucks, but it certainly changes how I feel about the situation if he turns out he was actively looking for drugs or something else shady in a shady area and not just a guy doing his job trying to support his family

Lets not go there. This guy was prohibited by his employer from being armed.

Arm up the delivery guys and see how many don't get robbed.

Has there been any credible evidence that he was buying drugs or are you just talking out of your arse?

I loved Louisiana and everything about it. State pride and the whole shebang. Then I lived somewhere else for a while and I get an outside view of the Louisiana, and I can't stand it.

I'm not knocking anyone who loves it. There are some good things to the state and I get loving what you know. For me personally, I'm glad we left.

Yep. It's sad but thats how I feel about it as well.

And for the people who say "NOLA people are in a bubble because they think thats how life is". That isnt true at all, I know NOLA has its problems and I know NOLA is different. I choose to live here because I love it and cant see myself anywhere else. I dont expect most of you to understand. I just dont see why you all spend so much of your energy letting us know how much you dont like it.

ETA: And I've lived in Lafayette and BR as well.

Meh, I lived in other cities. Most recently Houston. I learned quickly there if you want to get away from the piss and bums you had to drive about an hour out the city. If im gonna live in Tomball I might as well live in Madisonville and claim it as NOLA.

Never lived anywhere near Boston. I currently live in Huber Heights, Ohio. In the past I've lived in:

Cabot, AR
Tampa,FL
Yorktown, VA
Ghazni, Afghanistan (shite hole)

Living in Cabot gave me my first taste of what it was like to live in a much safer place.

Ah, right. Because the criminals all bought their guns legally. They certainly wouldn't be armed if it was illegal.

Yeah, that makes sense.

You're comparing a city with a population of 36k to New Orleans?

I wouldn't want to know what it feels like to live in some penny ante suburbs of already shitty places.

No shite Louis.
Not having to worry about getting robbed or shot or your family getting harmed is overrated.

agreed. Katrina is what really opened my eyes. Every other state who gets hit with a hurricane was able to help itself and didn't have "refugees" all over the country. But Louisiana is the exception.
