I can believe that. I've witnessed some really obnoxious Miami Heat fans during playoff games on the road.

This wasn't an innocent guy who got beaten to death out of the blue.

It sure look like he went down to the Dolphins fans, started a physical confrontation and had a heart attack.

Any adult who wears a team jersey is a troublemaker.

At no point would i ever break up adults fighting in public like this. They are all idiots and whatever happens to them, i dont' give a shite. I"m not risking my life helping one of those idiots. Never know what might happen if you insert yourself into that situation, even if you are going in with passive intentions to just break it up. Someone stabs you, shoots you, sucker punches you, frick that. Go ahead and keep fighting like dumbasses.

Eh I've stepped in before. Especially when there are women or children or whatever involved, or one guy is being pummeled by a much larger guy or whatever.

I do agree if its just your average 2 idiots that are going to have a shitty fight then let them go or let security handle it.

Frankly, it pisses me off at these stadiums how long it takes security and the police to get there. There's often security of some sort on every staircase or every other one watching. If you see something starting then motion for help and the police, stop that shite before it gets out of hand.

A large percentage of any NFL crowd consists of adults wearing jerseys without incident.

Just avoid the big jean shorts with a jersey types.

This right here. They’re the liberal white women of football. All look and act the exact same. Always wonder what their homes look like.

I agree, it's only a game. Poor guy, he got up Sunday morning, put on his NFL best, ate breakfast, and looked forward to a great football game, before the next sunrise he was dead.

I pray for him, his family, and for America.

Have the Patriots extended a contract offer to the assailant? Cheap shots, excessive violence - seems like he would fit into Boston/Pats culture pretty quick.

Boston has gotten soft if Heat fans are flexing nuts at the garden

It's looking more and more like the movie Impulse from 1984.

I just read article that said people videoed on their phones, but didn’t help. I hate this video culture and wish those taking and posting would be arrested. Needs to be outlawed.

I mean, can you really blame people for not wanting to jump in the middle of a fight between strangers? You do that and maybe you end up being the one that gets their lights permanently knocked out. As far as filming goes, it can be used as evidence so if you're not going to jump in the middle of it, filming it is probably the next best thing you can do. I don't disagree that some people probably just post it for internet clout but at the end of the day it's better to have film of the incident for investigative purposes than none at all.

i love watching fight videos so i say keep filming

I have been punched in the face enough to know it sucks so I am not going to jump in to stop two randos just to take a stray elbow. They are usually 260+ and need the exercise

It seems like there are multiple huge fights being posted to social media every weekend now at games.

Yeah, and in the 70’s, when I went to games, I saw fights quite often. But they never got posted to Social Media because, you know….

I’m my experience the people that talk shite never played a down of football in their life, are all under 5’7” and the only hope they have in life is through a sports team winning.

Until the NFL gets sued, this won’t stop. It could be prevented with a simple texting application. Seat, row and section. I’ll wager they we’re intoxicated.

Dolphins fans and grabbed one of them because they were taunting him

I was at a sold out LA Dodger game. These two Rockies fans were wearing their colors, and were sitting in a sea of Dodger blue, and they were catching hell from everyone around them throughout the entire game. The one Rockies fan was hilarious in how he was playing along with it. He had the entire section cracking up.

Taunting at a sporting event is not a legitimate reason to grab somebody, especially if it's simply because you are a fan of a certain team. Just sit there and take it, or find ways to have fun with it. People forget that it's all in good fun, and unfortunately so many treat their fandom as a religion.

That Dolphins fan is now having to live the with fact that he killed somebody over a meaningless football game, and is going to have to come to terms with the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison.

I think he wasn't fan but someone who was looking to victimize somebody regardless of the venue.
