I watched the video and certainly didn't see anything remotely close to a "brutal attack." Obviously incredibly trashy but nothing I would think would cause a death. I don't think we are getting the whole story

It seems like there are multiple huge fights being posted to social media every weekend now at games. I remember just a few years ago when you got one it was a big deal, but it's becoming so frequent that it's just another weekend football fight.

sorry, but this is not new, everyone just has a camera in their hands at all times now a days

This is why the fans dont sit together in soccer stadiums.

Yeah I don’t get why that isn’t done over here. It obviously can be done as it’s easily done in every soccer game in Europe.

And not only are opposing fans separated, there are cops lined up on every step between the two fan bases.

You mean to tell me that a billion dollar sports league that hands out 3 game suspensions then subsequently signing to multimillion dollar contracts thugs who shoot bouncers, brutally beat their girlfriends and children, and gang beat into hospitals people at casinos; all the while wanting to fine Christians who live pure and simply want to wear "Man of God" headbands when they play; also has fans beating people to death in the stands at their games?

Shocking. Just shocking.

Alcohol is typically the motivator of these issues.

NFL fans are trash.

What I don't get is fans of the same team fighting each other. See that a LOT lately.

I will never get involved in some stranger's fight in public. I'm not trying to get arrested or die. I care more about being there for my family. Not sorry

Seems like there are more and more stories about fights at NFL games. Are people really that worked up about an NFL game or is it just the alcohol?

Its not just NFL games. Its in the grocery stores, at gas stations, on the road, in office buildings. I truly believe the last 3 years have worn so heavily on people and it:
1. Brought out the crazy in already crazy people.
2. Made people lack empathy to others (hence filming instead of helping).
3. And... made people just not give a damn anymore.

And that is the scary part. I have to admit. I've been in an intense rage situation but was able to calm myself down. Some people can't, get so wrapped up in ridiculous shite and one second, changes their and others entire lives. Its just not worth it.
This country has lost its damn mind. And what we see everyday on the news, social media, etc fuels people to act insane.

As a Fins fan, I hate our trashy fans. See them everywhere. Exactly how you'd think they look and act.

Never mind, I just read article that said people videoed on their phones, but didn’t help. I hate this video culture and wish those taking and posting would be arrested. Needs to be outlawed.

A. That video cam be used in court.

B. If you interfere you open yourself up to legal issues.

Did y'all open the link? Says they had to use defibrillator on him and did CPR for 10 minutes. He might have just suffered a heart attack and it not been from injuries in the fight. I suppose either way its an awful situation

In college a guy came and talked to my fraternity as part of his community service. He was in law school at LSU, and the semester was basically done. They went out to celebrate. They were out in BR and some drunk dude was talking trash and messing with the girls in their group. He, being drunk himself, got frustrated and hit the guy. The guy fell back and hit his head on the pool table killing him.

He said, guys just walk away. I'm stuck in life because of a stupid decision. One of the few speakers that I ever heard that made me change my ways as a young man.

Didn’t look like the fight was the “reason” he died

Looks like he was overweight and out of shape and had a heart attack

Want to know how bad it can get?

Read Among the Thugs by Bill Buford. About hooliganism in the 1980s in England

Not saying that will happen here at all, but every weekend seems to have multiple videos pop up of crowds fighting at a game
