All about their training and personality I guess. I have my bloodhound and basset hound inside today and I trust they won't dare use it inside.
If they do, ill forgive it lol this is the biggest winter storm in the history of nw FL. My bloodhound is very grateful lol I feel horrible for my chickens and mini goat. Bassets are built for this though, when we let him out for a piss today, he was doing zoomies in the field. The snow is over half his height so that had to take a lot of energy.
I have all 15 of my chickens roosting on our backporch chairs but my rooster is being a stubborn shithead and sleeping in our wood pile after crowing everyone to the back porch. Stubborn bastard. Come sleep w your harem you dumbass.

My dog does whatever I tell it to do. Or else.

My male Shih Tzu doesn’t want to come inside

Don't know about pooping but all the dogs on our street seem to be loving the snow!

Loving it. Didn’t want to come in.

My old mutt seemed to enjoy the snow. Anytime we were out there he wanted to go with us. He pissed a couple of times and dropped a hot deuce in the afternoon.

Most of mine seem to enjoy it after an apprehensive 1st outing. So I let them out to run and play several times today.

Mini/toy rat terrier wouldn’t go in snow at all at first and never to poop. Before exploding he finally found a spot near patio with Iess snow and went. My wife probably cleared a spot as she babies him.
German Shepherd loves the snow and the cold. He will go as soon as he feels there is nothing to guard house or wife & kid from or if nothing to guard from the start he gets some playtime in first which is just his normal process with snow or when it’s 100 degrees in the summer.

My Malinois would live in that crap if I let her.
Even when we weren't out walking, she was laying out on the snow covered concrete patio for hours.
Made me shiver just looking at her.

Our dogs have had a blast. They love this weather and the snow

He's in heaven with this cold weather. He's probably burning up in the summer, so he's getting all he can while it's cold...lol

We have a Shih Tzu and Shih Poo
The Shih Poo loves it and played a ton in the snow yesterday.
The Shih Tzu explored all over, poor guys legs are short and would sink, but he kept going.
Both seemed to really like the snow
