I am sure UPS has some of the same systems as Amazon.
I was changing my oil, and an Amazon delivery driver blew her horn. I went to get my package, and she said; "this says you have a dog". She was looking at her tablet. So, she asked if I could take the package.
Our Boston died a year ago, but someone along the way noted that our 18lb Boston was somewhere lurking inside.

That dog was charging full speed at the driver so I don’t blame him. He did what he could with what he had to protect himself.

Few years back when we were still working at home every day, I used to notice the UPS driver going to the house across the street every day at some point. I had seen the lady that lived there but didn't really know her or husband if she had one. I just figured that UPS driver was her husband and got a route close enough he could stop in for a break and see his wife every day.
Then, one day I was getting my mail and I saw the lady and her husband getting out of their car and she said hello and introduced me.
It was not the UPS guy.

UPS driver should be fired but he squared up like this wasn't his first rodeo.

Regardless of who is at fault here, the UPS driver will lose his job.

Looks like an OT meetup at a Sonic.

You can always tell when people are not trained fighters by their stance, not understanding distance management, and how nervous they are (you’re usually very calm and try to control situation because you can handle them).
That UPS driver has failed the fighter test, but nice throw though.

I would have acted the same as the UPS deliverer.
He should charge the Dog Owner for having been forced into teach the dog respect.
How long and how much money would that have cost, for a professional dog trainer, to instill that respect in a dog.

While a agree this is probably the case. Instead of walking up ready to throw packages at a dog that is on someone's private property, then go straight into I'm ready to fight you mode...how about you just refuse to deliver there and when they inquire as to why they have to drive to UPS to pick up their package, you let them know they need to control their dog.

If you’re out front with your dog you should know where they are and be able to contain them. If not keep them inside or outback.
However this UPS driver looks like he was out looking for a fight. The fact he immediately tried to fight the home owner without even attempting to deescalate the situation proves he’s an a-hole.
Both parties could learn from this but something tells me neither will.

i cant blame the driver for his actions towards the dog. Dog was coming in hot in showing bad intentions. What is he suppose to do? let it bite him?
his actions afterwards are pretty douchebag like.
The true loser here is the owner who shouldnt let his dog loose and have free reign of the area, especially if it is an aggressive animal. Then he gets upset when someone defends themselves against his badly behaved animal. Should be fined and have his dog taken away.
