Dogs should be illegal, I will never be on a dog owner’s side for anything.

Dogs, no. Pits and anything that has a drop of Pit blood in it, yes.

He should have engaged him in the fight and taken a dive.
Then kick your feet up and get paid.

While normally I’d agree my wife (no pics) did a DNA test on the puppy we got from a rescue. It came back multiple breeds, 3.4% pitbull. Granted the dog is only a year old, the only way you’re getting bit is if you have a toy or treat in your hand you might lose a finger.

Dog looked and sounded like he was about to frick up the UPS man.

Driver was already having a really bad day before he made this delivery. That or he’s been bit by this dog before.

If the dog is loose and coming at me like that I would do the same exact thing. Didn't need to talk shite after and the homeowner didn't need to walk up on him like that, but driver did what he had to.

Why he throw his hands up like a 90 year old midget trying to drive a car.

Something tells me this wasn't his first run in at that address

All parties suck here. The homeowner for not controlling his dog — fence it, leash it, or keep it contained. Zero excuse for it charging at the driver.
The UPS driver sucks too for escalating immediately. You can tell he’s delivered there before. He had that premeditated energy walking up the driveway, was ready to throw the package at the charging dog and then throw hands instead of just de-escalating and leaving.
Both sides are trash and handled this like complete idiots.

Voice controlling an aggressive dog is a thing ... what would you have him do, send for a social worker? As for the dog owner, whadda ya mean why did I do that to your dog?
I personally back the delivery guy in this particular circumstance.
