Does your town have fast food restaurants?

Moved to a new town last fall. Population of 20,000, but there are no fast food places or chain restaurants other than a ale Pain Quotidien. Not that I mind but I find it odd that that a town this size doesn’t have those types of places.

Why would you need fast food in a small town? There's probably a few good local places to eat.

I live in a town smaller than that and we have 5 fast food restaurant (plus a subway, is that considered fast food?)

I live in a small city in Taiwan and there are 4 McDonald's, 2 KFCs, and a subway within walking distance from my apartment
