My sister used to do this.
After enough times of seeing them bitch on her doorbell camera about what she was leaving out for them, she finally said ‘frick it’ and stopped. Finally had enough of the entitled mentality.
People actually leave shite out for the Amazon driver like they are fricking Santa Claus?
The people of this country just get more insane by the day.

The tip I’ll give them is to go to school and get a better job…. Who the hell tips the Amazon driver?

It’s called a courtesy.
We could use more of it in our society.

Must be annoying to have to deliver a bunch of boxes when it delays you from the rest of your job of delivering more boxes.

Yea, that specific one isn’t my jam to do personally but I see the kindness in someone that wants to leave a couple bottles of water and a few bags of chips out
If it’s not an obligation and just a simple act of kindness, that’s pretty nice. Having nice people in society does help brighten days.

About the same as people ordering fast food on Door Dash.

I don’t get it. You deliver. It’s what you do. If not this house, another house. What’s her point?

Does she work for the Los Angeles fire department as well?

Don't blame driver really.
If people didn't order things, the driver wouldn't have a job. The person picked delivery driver as their job. They could have just as easily been a fry cook. Of course, then they would be bitching about the lunch rush, how people are too lazy to make a brown bag lunch at home and instead go to the drive through.
You are just as stupid as she is.

That looked like 10 cases of water. That's like 300 pounds.

What they need to do is stop ordering anything.
Then she loses her job.
Then she loses her job.

I know a person who is a caretaker for a handicapped person that takes big orders in since....well, the homeowner kinda can't. Whether the driver has ever seen the homeowners before or not, I can't judge. I'm also not assuming there are hyphens and apostrophes in the driver's name.

I can see both sides of this...
Yes, it's heavy. I order ammo by the case, and I correctly anticipated the demand going into covid. I'm sure my UPS driver hated me
But, it's their job. And especially for Amazon delivery drivers, part of the draw to having an Amazon Prime account is free delivery of a bunch of stuff we used to go to Walmart to get.

not judging you or anyone else just saying what I would do…there is no way I would do that to someone. I would order it and go pick it up.
one might say, “that’s too heavy for me to handle at the store” and another one might say, “it doesn’t get any lighter for the delivery person”
It’s just good manners and a little bit of effort
If I get it at a store, it will have to be restocked by someone. Where’s your manners for that person? Did you lose your virginity to a UPS driver or something?
Manners lol. People are too soft these days. My purchase pays the deliverer’s salary by proxy. I don’t even need manners from that person, I’d settle for the reasonable standard of doing their job right.
