If so how does your pet respond to the roomba? Do they see it as a toy? Are they scared of it?

It is maybe the most entertaining part of the day. Dog goes crazy.

ETA. After a few days, she got used to it and just goes in her kennel to get away from it.

I've got a dog and a Wyze vacuum. She isn't scared of it but she's annoyed by it. She'll get up and move to another room if it's running.

We did have one, with a husky. It was worthless, so we gave it to my wife’s grandma.
It takes like 30 minutes to do what I can do with a battery powered handheld vacuum in 30 seconds.

My dog was scared of it, but I see youtube videos of cats riding on top of them.

We have an indoor cat. A way too fricking old cat that won’t fricking die. She stares at the thing from under the bed then runs away like a cartoon character with her legs slipping beneath her when it goes under the bed.

She’s a useless little bitch that needs to just die. Perfect health, of course

A friend of mine had one years ago (I think it was called I Robot or something) and at the time his oldest daughter was.. I guess 3 or 4.. And his twin daughters were 2 or 3.. And they would run after it and try to sit on it, etc. He had to put more work into trying to keep them away from it and it ended up breaking a few months after he bought it.

My old dog will just lay there until it runs into her butt. Then she will scamper away and go to her bed in the bedroom.

My parents had both a cat and dog. The thing you have to worry about is piss and shite. The Roomba will NOT recognize it as an obstacle and it will drag it everywhere.

The new models actually will avoid poop now.
