Doctors getting vaccine - compelling case to get vaccine?

Background:
I got JJ vaccine (for work int'l travel and JJ specifically for several reasons, including do not trust human factors like consistent cryogenic temp throughout supply chain, for such scale and speed, kept for effective mRNA; JJ no cryogenic temp req'd)
My wife opposes getting vaccine. Leary of speed to market and new technology. I was too. Her prerogative.
Fast forward to today, just back from Dr. appt. All Drs at this org got vaccine. Very large org.
For those of you who have / will not get vaccine, how do you view medicine subject experts who get the vaccine? Pretty compelling case for the vaccine, no?

If you worked in healthcare or closely with a large number of physicians…..you would have a much better understanding as to why your case really isn’t that compelling.

Tucker Carlson knows better than them

Are you lumping doctors in with nurses and medical assistants, because there’s a significant difference in education across the board and I know which ones I’d listen to over others.

Doctors believe in modern medicine.
Or are required by their employer to get it.
Or are required by their employer to get it.

My personal doctor did not get vax because he has seen some serious/critical side effects early on in multiple patients. He advised me not to get it

Why do I feel like getting a vaccination is now akin to a presidential election, and I’m being inundated with people campaigning for their side to win the day?

Generally? No
But I do know doctors who are intelligent, not lemmings, and who are rabidly right wing who got the vaccine and encouraged me to do so
So I do put some amount of stock in that. But TBH I don't think physicians are THAT much better prepared to gauge the risks/advantages than an intelligent layman who can digest dense material and approach a topic without emotion.
I think most people who do the latter conclude either -
1) Seems like it works, seems like it's safe, there is an outlier possibility of issues that if they arise are going to impact millions, but because of x, y, z (personal health, age, risk aversion, kids) I'm going to get it.
or
2) Seems like it works, seems relatively safe, but I'm not comfortable with the unknowns and the risk to me is tolerable enough to hold out for now.

Doctors are pretty much all vaxxed..
Redneck nurses, not so much

Not really. Doctors buying in the the prevailing medical winds of the day is pretty much essential to maintaining their way of life.

As people who trust their contemporaries didn't misplace a decimal somewhere and we won't know about it for 10 years. Time will tell if they are dumb doctors are smart doctors. Both are very prevalent in the medical community.
Contrary to popular belief, a high intelligence is not a requirement to be a doctor. I respect the profession but I don't trust just any doctor's opinion. Just ask doctors how much malpractice insurance they have to carry. It's not because they are always right now is it?

If they are not, I will take $50 copays and have openings for the rest of year. When would you like your next appointment?
Kidding...but I am curious why you put so little credence on medical expertise vs. laymen?
