I haven't posted anything in over a year, and I unfollowed about half my friends list during Election 2016. If all you want to talk about is politics, you'll do it without me reading it. Other people must have had the same idea I did, because the ones I'm actually interested in keeping up with rarely post anything. I still check it every day or two, mostly out of habit.

Hell yes! Facebook is still the place to go to bang hot single moms, slutty wives, and attention seeking bitches. Like a few of their selfies, wave at them a few times, next thing you know you get a msg from them saying "hey! Do we know each other?" Few days later your dicks down their throat. Zuckerberg is a golden god!

I use it to post interesting pictures of my lunch choices, update my status of which tv show I’m watching and air grievances. So in other words, I just post the important things going on in my life at the moment.

Never had an account. Kinda figured back in the day that if I put my personal info out there, I would eventually regret it. Glad I listened to myself

I've had a Facebook account since 2008. I think I have spent a total of 4-5 hours and made about 10 posts on my Facebook page/account in the last 10 years. Last time I looked at it was probably around 2014. Decided people trying to impress other people or convince their "friends" how great their life is and how much fun they are having did nothing for me and did not impress me. That took me all of a few hours to figure out years ago.

similar to my experience...I made an account and after accessing it a few times, never really got back to it. I no longer even remember my password.

That says more about what kind of friends you have. Facebook is good if you use it properly.

A few years ago I began to unfriend all of those racist ignorant liberals and judgmental atheist. Facebook is much more enjoyable now.

I never get on the site. After reading this I decided to delete the account. Only reason I haven’t done it earlier is I wasn’t sure how to do it. I knew it could be done, I just wasnt going to spend time trying to figure out how to do it. Wifey is pissed bc she always tags me in shite. At least I won’t have all the stupid emails telling me whose birthday it is or who posted a picture of me.
Free at last, thank god I’m free at last

Deleted mine about a month ago and it’s incredible.

This is a weird statement all the time. What is so incredible about it? I look it mine tops a couple of times a week on my phone if I'm sitting in a waiting room, gas pump, something like that. Did you let it run your life or something?

I deactivated my account about a month ago, intending for it to only be a week or so before I was back on, but as of a month I still haven't been back and I honestly feel better. I joined in October '05, and it has my life in photos for the last 13 years, from graduating high school to going to LSU and afterwards, so I at least have that. Otherwise, it has little worth to me as far as what direction it has gone. My case is entirely subjective, but I have a feeling that more will start to feel similar in the near future. Taking a break to see how it feels may be more or less burdensome for some, just depends on you.

I deleted mine yesterday. Some bitch I don’t know was harassing me & family members. Not worth it. I’ll stick to Instagram.
