I do kind of enjoy seeing which girls I went to high school/college with have resorted to peddling pyramid scheme makeup or whatever.

You are the perfect Facebook person. They love people like you.
People use Instagram just for pictures, Snapchat for current moments, twitter, and other platforms. Facebook has ruined more lives than it has helped. I’ll say this, it’s growth potential has just peaked. It will be like old people and their tv nightly news. Some people may well use it forever. It’s usefullness will recede with time and we’ll lump it with MySpace.

I don't ever really use the site or scroll my "wall" but I keep it open for Messenger. Facebook is the easiest way for some people to reach me, like old army buddies or extended family. Don't even have to open the main site for that.

I fricking love Facebook!!

My Facebook page is my personal photo album of my kids growing up. I seldom post and if i do, it’s about the kids or sports. That other shite is one big dead horse that people continue to beat.
ETA: Before anyone says Instagram, I’ve tried it. There’s no way to organize photos in different folders. So no thanks.

People have been saying this for at least 5-6 years.

I still have it only to keep up with my family. I never installed the their messenger crap. I might post 2-3 a year

Nah I deleted it early last year. I started it in 2008 and I amassed too many “friends” that when I became mature I was wondering who the frick are these people. My feed was aids and there were way too many “friends” to delete so I just deleted my account.

Good. That makes me happy.
When my son caught a four pound bass last month it was so nice to put the pick on facebook so his aunts, uncles, grandparents, and my out of state friends could see it.
I guess I could have taken 20 polaroid pictures and mailed them to each person I thought would like to see it.

What about saying AF and dude?

I use it only to push my political beliefs and awesome family on people

I quit Facebook after the Alton Sterling fiasco. Too many people I respected were saying stupid shite.

Deleted mine about a month ago and it’s incredible.

I've had a Facebook account since 2008. I think I have spent a total of 4-5 hours and made about 10 posts on my Facebook page/account in the last 10 years. Last time I looked at it was probably around 2014. Decided people trying to impress other people or convince their "friends" how great their life is and how much fun they are having did nothing for me and did not impress me. That took me all of a few hours to figure out years ago.

It is funny how all the FB haters take over all the FB threads

Yeah, I’ve had FB since 2004. Joined right after I met my wife. My kids might one day enjoy seeing how their parents once were. Maybe they’ll enjoy seeing themselves grow up. I dunno, but it’s something that no other generation in history ever had.

Scruffy still has one, but hasn’t logged on in years.
They send birthday notifications. Only reason Scruffy still has an account.
