not a habit just being a POS. Seems like if should be left off the invite list.

If I am throwing a party I supply all the alcohol and anything brought by guests is intended as a gift. Don't think I have ever seen anyone take home stuff not consumed. But if I host say, a soccer team party, that is BYOB, then I expect people to take home their extra beer, etc... In fact, please take your 12 pack of Shiner Ruby Grapefruit. I am not drinking that shite.

i usually bring beer as a it's for everyone so I leave it. But there's plenty of times I've brought it to a byob type of thing like a boil and it's like a side dish I'll bring th left overs home.

If someone came back the next day for their beer I'd give them a hard time. But if they brought their beer home with them I wouldn't care at all.

My friends and I usually share beer, like each brings a different sixer so we have different things to drink.

If I have beers in their fridge, and I remember, I ask them if they want them or not. I usually just bring a small ice chest to avoid taking up room in the fridge though.

I always leave what is remaining. One time I brought an ice chest full of imports to a MG party at my brothers house. Strangers were digging in my ice chest. I don't mind sharing but I am not going to let some strangers fill up on my beer.

Most of the time there is a designated drink fridge or ice-chest for alcohol unless its only 1 or 2 couples. Going to the main fridge for drinks is very annoying and gets in the way of people in the kitchen. In any case I always leave the leftovers unless the host forces people to take stuff.

all the parties we go to you bring your alcohol in an ice chest. You can't expect the host to have a massive ice box to hold everyone's alcohol.

nothing gets left behind.

You call dinner parties "suppers?" I thought supper was just another way to say dinner

It really depends. My buddy has a fridge in his shop where we usually drink so ill bring some and leave it. He does the same but sometimes will take a couple if the next day is a sunday cause we are a dry county. We also trade out food, I have a huge pack of left over chicken wings in his freezer and if we grill at my place he will leave anything left over.

Nope. I also drink all of theirs as well so they have less to deal with.

or if he's got money that day, he'll buy good beer, leave it in his car, and go back and forth to get a fresh one.
