Some people call that the best of both worlds.

I know several and they are mostly quiet and keep to themselves. I sympathize with them because it's obviously not an easy decision and they're just trying to be who they feel like. Is it weird? Yeah, of course, but it doesn't bother me and if that's what they wanna do, then let them do it. My issue with people in general is when they push their beliefs on others. Let me do my thing, and you do yours. Both sides have awful people trying to do awful things, but not everyone is like those people. There are good people out there just trying to be themselves, whatever that may be.

Two customers at the bank were. Stephanie and Dee.

Stephanie was about 6'5", 210 lbs of muscle and breast implants.

Dee was a dumpy looking person with red hair and a perpetual 5 o'clock shadow.

They were obnoxious, and I hated dealing with them, especially since they insisted that I call them "ma'am".

The son (now daughter??) of family friends. He’s been through some weird iterations of himself leading up, goth, crazy hair, name changes,etc.. before landing on trans in late teens.

Ironically both parents are psychologists.

I was in William Sonoma Lakeside shopping mall picking up some knives that were being sharpened. I noticed an Asian woman behind the counter. I went about looking around the store at kitchen stuff. Then I heard the Asian "woman" speak.. I said to myself NO FREAKIN WAY!! No homo but that thing could easily pass as a woman...

It makes me think, where did all this come from? 25 years ago, I surely didn't know anyone, much less hear about the term. What or who started it? Bruce Jenner?

I know "of" only one person. It's the child of someone that is related to someone that used to be in our family but no longer (divorced). So we're talking a very, very loose connection to this person.

Born female then started dresing male around puberty and changed their name. I have no idea if they're doing the full deal surgery/medicine but looking at pics online you would not imagin they were born female.

Not surprisingly in any way shape or form whatsoever, the parents are MEGA liberal with the biggest offender (the mom) being from up north. They of course live in a lily white area and probably don't ever see a minoriy in their daily life but they were lining the streets with posterboards a few years back in some kind of equality march or some shite.

I suspect it has always existed to some degree, but as with everything else, 24/7 access to media and socialization has given it a platform.

And it isn’t one size fits all. Some of it is legitimate mental illness, some people have a sexual fetish, some people are just doing it for attention, and in some cases it’s a combination of those (and other) factors.

I've only ever seen two in the open (in 56 years), which is weird considering they're like 10-15% of what you see on tv now.

Yes, someone I worked with on a project well over a decade ago in Colorado. It was a controls project and she is an excellent coder. I had suspicions the first time I saw her. I asked one of her coworkers who acted as though he wasn't sure but I think he feigned ignorance. Eventually, she did tell me she was her biological children's father. I feel like those kids are going to be a bit confused though I guess they are adults now.

If you wonder why I use the pronoun she, it is simply because I initially knew and worked with his person as a female remotely and only met her months into the project so I think of her as a she. This was well before all this was accepted and she was not demanding or in any way overt or demanding. She looked like a sort of plain to slightly homely tall thin girl. I have no idea if the plumbing matches the pronoun nor do I want to find out. Have not spoken to her since that project which ended probably 15 years ago.

Just the hookers...seriously though. Growing up in Vegas they were drug addicts and hookers. You'd have some bleeding hearts feel bad for them when they got beat up. Average person knew it was a deal gone bad. Back then you knew it was a mental health issue and they couldn't operate in society hence the drugs and hooking

I don't do the hiring. And they're dependable, show up, and do their jobs well. I don't know the last time you worked in a kitchen but most cooks are fricked up or antisocial in some way, which is why they're cooks tucked back in a kitchen.

If they can show up and do their jobs on a regular basis you can either overlook their other flaws or shutter your restaurant because perfect people aren't lining up around the block to cook in kitchens these days.

Well, I always skip over your shitty poems so I guess we're even.

Sorry we weren't able to get Thomas Keller to devein shrimp for you for $20 an hour, you smug bitch. If you think the food you're already eating in restaurants isn't being made by dropouts, ex-cons, active criminals, drunks, druggies, homosexuals, trannies, assholes who can't get along with general public, illegals, and the occasional fresh faced culinary school grad who can't keep up with everyone else, you're an even bigger idiot than I thought.

No.

But my friends tend to deal with reality. Cannot relate to those who deny it.
