Do you kiss women on the cheek?

Growing up I was never taught to do this as a greeting to women. I notice a lot of my friends do it and their SO's even put their cheek out to me whenever we hug even though I never kiss them. Just feels odd to me.

Cheek for sure, some on the lips (OMG!!), but that depends on the person. It's complicated.

You mean an actual kiss on the cheek or the slight cheek on cheek touch where you kiss the air and purse your lips away from the person?

I have a few female friends that do this and as I'm not even a big hugger, it presented a dilemma.. I simply allow the kiss with the hug.. maybe it's an anomaly but all of them are quite attractive..

I turn my cheek so they think they are kissing it but turn my head back real quick like and slip the tongue

I do it based off of cues. My family never did it, but a childhood friend's family did and I picked it up from them. They are Italian heritage, and I imagine that it is an Italian American thing. It does always feel a little awkward to me.
