Maybe price changes your preferred seat location in the near future?
AMC Theaters now charging ticket prices based on seat location

The country’s largest exhibition chain is rolling out Sightline at AMC, a ticket pricing initiative based on seat location within the auditorium. Similar to music concerts, sporting events or Broadway, moviegoers will have the option to pay more or less for admission depending on where they choose to sit in the venue. In effect, front row seats will be available at a lower price, while seats in the middle of the theater will be available at a higher price.

About four or five rows from the back on the aisle on the right side of the seating chart. Here you will be invincible against zombies and a terrorist attack.
It depends on the layout, but I like to be on those little island seats to the far left/right about halfway up where you can look down on people entering/leaving.

Middle cushion of my couch in my living room. Concessions are bought and paid for and there are no people there that annoy me...

I haven’t been to the movies in forever. But I can recall the best place to fool around was top right.

Dead-center of the row with the rails you can rest your feet on.

On the very side as far away from people as possible. I can hear the sound of crinkling candy plastic far too well.

Middle row, on the outside seats.

This is going to sound weird.
I've never been able to sit through a movie comfortably since the Aurora, CO massacre.
So top left for me so I can oversee all the potentials.

Anywhere away from the fat arse shoveling buckets of popcorn during the whole movie

Haven't been to one in 20 years or more since I got hooked into going to that one. I don't give a damn if the whole industry dies and the fake "Hollywood" mob either goes broke or dies with them. It would certainly be a blessing since all of the movies worth watching were made about 70 years ago.

far away from the nonsense as possible

Back row is too far for me. Feels like I'm watching on TV. Give me dead center. Too close is obviously awful. I sat front row for Apollo 13. It made me hate the US Space Program.

When you go to a football game aren't seats on the 50 yard line more expensive than corner endzone?
