I think the poors take the “ your lawyer for life” and “ family calls family” they see on billboards seriously. However anyone that actually has a lawyer or uses lawyers with any frequency and pay $750/hr or more don’t usually throw that around. Getting attorneys involved gets expensive quick.

Three routine scenarios off top of my head:
Car wreck
Kid gets in trouble
Home insurer won’t cover house damage after an act of god
But none of these things warrant having an attorney on retainer.

Agree. These commercials that say Lawyer for Life confuse me. But my IQ is pretty high and I dont exhibit trashy behavior.

Not always. I’ve seen some trash say “ima call my lawyer.” Always wondered how those types just happen to have a lawyer on standby.

It is crazy to me that people think like that. While their particular specialties will likely be different, "good" people have just as much legitimate need for an attorney as "bad" people.
