No. I feel weird if I do and when I was younger I did. One I don’t drive after having that many drinks have way too much to kose. I can see it being awkward getting a car if the others are not.
Best plan since it’s still “work” just have one beer and then say I gotta drive home later. Leave it at that. You will gain respect.

Working in ag in the South a pilgrimage to either Tunica, Cleveland, or Greenville at least once a year is basically mandatory. Company sponsored cocktails hours or sales reps leaving tabs open for the duration are basically a law. That’s why I’m thankful for when we all stay and eat supper at The Cotton House. Cut loose, holler calf rope when you’re ready, and walk back to your room

I more meant where is it in terms of why nobody felt like they could Uber after having a bunch of drinks more so than transportation to and from the airport. If this trip is happening out in the middle of nowhere where there’s no Ubers then y'all need to drink less next time. Take it from a guy who’d be lost without his daily cocktail or 3. Gotta play it smart.

No my boss boozes harder than I do so he's usually asking me for a ride. Then we laugh at how absurd that is and then make out in an uber.

Maybe so. I have kids so don’t risk my job or them not having a dad. Play the other people on the road at the time.

My old boss would get so shite faced drunk every night I was the last thing he was worried about getting home.

Sometime in my mid 30s I realized I’m way too old for a DWI to be cute and I just uber every time it’s even marginal.
You should start doing that too.

I'm not sure if there's a better reason for an Uber. I wouldn't take chances these days anyway. Even with surge pricing, it's a hell of a lot cheaper than a DWI.

I am a one and done drinker.
If I were to have any more, I would Uber or call someone for a ride.
I would not want to endanger others nor would I want to get a DWI. Both good reasons to not do a foolish thing.

Yes if you had 4 drinks and shouldn’t be driving. The rule is one drink and done if you’re going to drive better to have none or take an uber if drinking.
