Do you ever leave the house when you get in an argument with the wife?

No, I'm not gay so I don't have that problem.

Eta: so I'm assuming the 77 dvs are males who didn't get the joke and the 9 uvs are women who did.

No because I'm an adult and know how to discuss things without throwing a immature tantrum.

I would like to go for a run when we get into arguments to clear my head. But I’d imagine that me lacing up my shoes and hitting the pavement as she is fuming probably wouldn’t work out very well

No, I tell the bitch to get out of MY house.

Leaving your own house is a total cuck move....man up baw or we taking your man card away.

That’s a pretty common technique taught in couples therapy to keep folks from losing their cool to the point that they say some shite they can’t take back.

Just have to make sure you come back around with a cooler head and find some resolution to what you were disagreeing about.

Yep. Years ago I would have gone to the bar for hours.

These days I go to Walmart.

And a few minutes later I'll send her a picture of something she likes and ask "do we need any more of this?"
And Voila! Fights over.

Eh, sometimes being a man means leaving your wife and kids safe at home while you both take a break and let things cool off... just my opinion.

At some particular advanced age (relatively speaking of course), you come to fully understand the concept of staying out of arguments at all costs. I say “at all costs,” but what typically happens is the ability becomes so innate that it’s pretty much unnoticeable second nature stuff. Yes, there are some things in life for which an argument is completely unavoidable, in which case you just blow your top one real good time all at once, then the opponent usually concedes out of fear of the unknown. And oftentimes you’ll notice there’s never anything nearing an argument again.

No, I don't argue with anyone, especially my wife. We've been married 18 years and I can't think of one time that I wanted to leave.

Much better for everyone and to end the crazy. Plus if you have a plan or destination.

Sometimes I want to but no. My mom and I got in a fight about something, I don’t remember what, when I was 14. It was in the car waiting for the school bus. I said something smartass and slammed the door while she was talking. She died in a car accident that afternoon. I know it’s impractical, but I never want to put myself or my family in a position for that to happen again.

Honestly, it may be the best way to calm down the situation, get some time for some clarity, and realize what’s important to you.

I’ve done it many times. Once I had to do it 3 times in one day. Every time I came home she tried to rehash shite, so I’d just leave again.

One thing though.... if you do this turn your phone off, or ignore the incoming text and phone calls.

Don’t feed into the crazy a woman can reign down upon you to make you believe you are in the wrong!!

ETA: Also women realize the power their pussy has over you. Don’t feed into that shite at all. Once you take that power from them, they become an entirely different person!!
