Do You Ever Just Put the Phone Down?

Talking to this dude and he just won't shut up. Just rambling and saying the same stuff in different ways over and over.
I just had to put the phone down and every 30 seconds pick it up and say "Uh huh". Then put it down again.
Maybe I should have just faked another call coming in and hung up.

You need to look up Jolly Roger Telephone Co on youtube. That shite is hilarious, especiallly the one where the guy tells the telemarketer he was distracted by a bee and asks him to start over.

I do that when a cousin of mine calls. We grew up together so he's more like a brother but he yaps and yaps about work and stuff Idc about.. So I often put the phone down on speaker and just let him ramble while I do something else.

I cannot fricking stand to talk on the phone. ..once you get out of junior high you will probably feel the same way.

Used to do this all the time to my mom when I was in high school. My mom could go on a lecture for legit an hour straight about some bs. Could put the phone down for about 15 mins and then when I would hear here voice stop I could just say "alright, I understand" and then she would proceed to say the same shite for another 15 mins. Friends used to get a kick out of it.

No phone at the gym.
Calls are necessary to locate people in crowded places. (Tailgating) the lag with texts pisses me off. If important I call, I refuse to type a whole conversation (as I type this on mobile)
