No, I had to pay a shite ton of money to attend and they didn't give me shite.

Why would I donate to a for-profit school?

Yes my wife and I donate about $2k a year between 3 institutions. My wife was on an athletic scholarship so we feel its the fair thing to do to give back

Nope tuition was enough

I never have before, and swore I never would.
Then I grew up and matured, and donated actually for the first time today. Some challenge my school is apparently doing every year.
ETA: talking about high school here. I’m not giving a fricking dime to LSU as long as Alexander is there.

Or maybe they would rather donate to charitable organizations instead?

I paid for a service for which I had to bring what I got out of it to the table. It is a state run institution for which we still provide for. This state does a terrible job at managing money and has an arse BACKWARDS approach to economic development. I will not fill in the gap for corruption and stupidity by our state government.

I contributed to Avery Johnson's buy-out.

I went to Wofford under and Duke law on scholarship so I have done my best to pay the general scholarship funds back over the years, I also give a modest amount to their athletic departments. I have life insurance to set up a named scholarship at both, hopefully, they won't get it for 30 or so years.
