Texting is superior to talking 90% of the time.

Nope, just an easy way to communicate with several at one time.

If it takes more than two-three text, have a conversation. If you’re just calling me for no reason...don’t.

Texting is amazing for dealing with people who take forever talking to convey about 6 seconds of information

definitely not, texting is superior by a lot.

If a call has to be made it better be for a quick intervention/change of plans, where a few minutes delay in text coms will throw a wrench in something. Otherwise, save that shite for talking face to face.

Nope, can't stand texting for anything more than a sentence or two. Just use the phone function and call me.

No. Texting can be taken out of context so much easier

It’s not

Some things require the variations only brought by verbal communication

I prefer a real conversation but texting is so damned convenient. Especially in situations where the other party can’t pull away to talk.

Texting is for those ill equipped to hold a verbal conversation or too lazy to do so. Either way, you have something that requires my attention, it best not come in the form of a text.

Nope.
Smart phones are the death of this country/civilization. too many people typing away without actually using their voice and talking to someone. It’s absolutely terrible and ruining us all.

Same here brother.
These god damn millennials and the ones below them. Always tapping away on their phones, and can’t even look people right in the eye and talk

I hate talking on the phone.
I hate small talk.
Therefore, I love texting.

It's to the point, you can deal with an answer when you want, no pointless small talk or dead air, just communicate what you want to communicate. Also, as a big fan of GIFs, texting can also be more fun.
