Used to.
Only when outdoors on purpose now, not daily.
I can honestly say in the 20 years since I stopped daily carrying a pocketknife I cannot recall one single instance where I thought “I wish I had my pocketknife.”
I’ve got two angry door keys on my key ring that suffice for using in opening packages.

It has been a very long time since I received a package I couldn't open easily with a house key.* As for impressing the fairer sex, I suppose it depends on whether she prefers a Boy Scout or McGyver.
*I don't know how long it has been but it has been exactly how long since I got a package sealed with tape with the longitudinal reinforcing fibers. I know they still sell it but I haven't gotten a box sealed with it in many years. A key will split it fine lengthwise but fails widthwise.

It's not unusual at all, unless you have to go thru a metal detector every day. I carry a knife 99.9% of the time, except when flying or going somewhere that has security screening. I

Right. You never know when you're going to need it. There's always some box or plastic container you need to open, and it's handy having it right there. The biggest issue is remembering to pack it if you're flying, etc. I've had a couple of times where I remembered at the last minute to slip it in my suitcase just before checking my luggage.

Keychain Gerber.
Amazing how many times it came in handy.
Used to carry one of these but I gave it to my nephew.
Need another.

Yes, and so much so, that friends and family have come to me looking for knife while out or hanging out.
I carry a small kershaw or very small Speedy either clipped into pocket or in the pocket.
Also, have given a few to TSA out of habit.
