But yeah anything can become an addiction. Our brain is wired to seek at "good" things and gets antsy if it doesn't get "good" things after having an abundance. It also needs more stimuli of the same "good" to reach that happy spot for a bit.
It's just nowadays our brains have more to chase then back when it was just pussy, dick, drugs, and/alcohol.

No. Honest answer, no BS. An addiction is something you can’t live without no matter what.
Take someone that thinks they are addicted to porn and put them in a remote location where they have to work to just survive. All of a sudden, porn is an after thought with 0 effect on their life.
Now take the same person addicted to alcohol, opioids, or something else.
