Do you believe porn addiction is legit?

Do y’all believe that an addiction to porn is a real, legit addiction? I know a lot of medical experts are divided on this subject, but I believe it is real. Some have compared it to drug addiction because of the dopamine release in the brain, and I think there may be some truth to that.
So what say the OT? Is constantly watching porn just merely a bad habit or is it an addiction that needs to be treated as an addiction to overcome it?

I used to believe this, just like you. I had a surgery and was prescribed some pretty powerful stuff. I had a hard time getting off of them after three weeks. I have empathy for those addicted to opioids.

I’ve met a lot of couples under 40 years of age who aren’t having sex due to the man never wanting to. 100% of the time is because he’s addicted to porn whether he admits it or not.
I’ve heard all the excuses, but in the end, it always boils down to the ease and excessively utilizing porn.
