One early morning on my commute to work, I pull into a drive thru ATM to have some cash on hand. The woman in the car in of me took almost 10 minutes fiddling doing something before I finally drove off in disgust.
I guess she was doing the deposit thing you are mentioning.

If im doing more than a quick deposit/withdraw I’m going inside. People that sit at them for 10+ minutes are morons.

I always look at the person to see their debit card number and pin code. I spray dust and block out light then shine infrared to see the 4 digit code. Next is profit.

It's like Mississippi rush hour- several dozen cars all backed up around a four-way stop while the people up front all try to wave each other through.

If I’m in line for making a deposit and I notice the car in front of me drive off then swing back around behind me in line I’m driving the frick off.

If I know I'm going to take a while with my deposits and I see a person or 2 behind me,Ill deposit a portion and then circle back behind the other person. Is this the appropriate action in your opinion. I've had to wait behind people for over 5-10 mins at an ATM and it can be infuriating.

No, that’s stupid. But I will go as fast as possible. Can’t stand idiots who act like it’s their first time ever at an atm and take forever to press buttons.

If I have a bunch of stuff to deposit, I'm just gonna go inside or the night depository if it is after hours. No way I'm sitting there at the ATM and doing 6 or 7 separate deposits having to confirm each one. Then pressing "yes I have another deposit"... blah blah. I'll just go in, fill out a deposit slip and hand them to the teller.

seems like our bank doesn't put the balance on the receipt anymore. I rarely use it, so I'm not 100% sure.

My main ATM used to be in a bank lobby/entrance that was open all night.
A Monday morning visit often found a left-behind receipt marked 1:47 a.m. with a $3.23 balance. I always wanted to know the rest of the story.
