Kenny was a nice guy. Didnt have too many enemies it seemed (except harry lee maybe, lol). Ran great super late night pool tourneys on non club nights (like start time 12 or 1am on a Wednesday).

Ole Kenny's Cheese Fest. Good times.

Aqua on the lakefront was also hilarious.

What Metairie DOES Need though is places like Bayou Wine Garden, Tchoup Yard, Wrong Iron etc. Nice outdoor bars with good ambience that actually have some nice craft beer and decent wine, etc (not that Tchoup Yard has the nice stuff).

Those don’t really work in a car dependent suburb…

The only place I could see that working would be Bucktown over on Old Hammond Hwy

When was Nicholos on Melvil Dewey (probably not spelled right) prime ? I started going there in 2000 meet some awesome ppl who would give me their wristband to drink. Never went to Kenny's but knew of it.

It would work just fine in many parts of Metairie. Near Metairie Road it would work out swell.

Off of Vets near Bonnabel and what not.

I don't see why a "car dependent suburb" matters. Most people aren't taking their bikes to Wrong Iron (which is possibly the most "metairie" place in all of New orleans)

Could work in old metairie but the space is limited. So smaller outdoor areas or rooftops places like Parish Line Bistro. Winston's could also have a nice outdoor area

Parish line and Winston’s both have patio areas. I’ve heard a wrong iron type place is headed to Metairie road but will be a little more high end. I have not seen anything definite on that though.

Winstons has an outdoor area but they could make it nicer I think. Not that it is bad, just has more potential

I think Parish Line is more in line with what he was speaking of though, but obviously it is also significantly newer
