Was that link needed in this thread about the last book you’ve read?
I’ve been on a Crichton kick myself. Reading State of Fear currently.

Long Range by CJ Box, almost at the end of the Joe Pickett Wyoming in game warden series.
And Leaders Eat Last for non-fiction.

Based on this mornings OT, we apparently need a board (or boards) for pronunciation, dictionary, spelling and grammar.

I posted it on the book board

My idea was The Symposium, devoted to not only books but also history, philosophy and art. But that was rejected.
This is a good idea.

The only thing I watch is sports. Any other time I am reading. And I can walk to a library in 90 seconds.

I read constantly. Currently reading Diamond's "Guns Germs and Steel." Before that a novel called "Conversations with Friends." Prior to that, "Thinking Fast and Slow." And so on. If you don't read, you are essentially dooming yourself to a life of ignorance. Strange decision, in my view.

I agree. To me reading is food for the brain.

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

Last book I finished is Powers of Attorney by Mimi Lavenda Latt.
In addition to reading the Bible every morning, I generally have three books I'm in the middle of at any time.
A novel, something non-fiction (usually military history), and a biography/autobiography.
I also have and use a library card. My tax dollars pay for it so I use it.

I try to read at least one book each month, although I’m working on a 1,000 page behemoth that’s going to take awhile. The last one I finished was “Carrying the Fire” by Astronaut Michael Collins. I’m working on the condensed version of Churchill’s “Memoirs of the Second World War.” After this one, I have a few to choose from. Leaning towards a biography of Joe DiMaggio.

Ready Player One. There was a pretty good discussion on the book board.

I’m currently reading Three Body Problem. I like it but it’s the type of book I have to take a break from and pace myself. I bought all three books so I’m glad I’m enjoying the first and didn’t waste my money on the others.

I love the book board. Last book I finished was City of Bones by Michael Connelly (last night). Started Deep Freeze by John Sanford this morning.

Listening to Matthew McConaughey’s Greenlights narrated by him is fantastic.
