I wear boots to work everyday even when I wear my suits. Granted, these are very nice dress boots. Suits and boots FTW

Woman wear english riding boots to shop. They are letting you know they have horses. Still wearing riding pants.

Laborers wear them a lot outside of Texas. Steel toed cowboy boots, see the electricians and such with them on a lot in the power industry.

If women can wear boots with knee length dresses and be fashionably accepted then I think you should be good in wearing your boots wherever and whenever.

I've got dress boots I wear to court for work.

Are we talking everyday Ariats like those seen in LA plants? Or the ornate boots with chrome tips and fancy stitching?
I certainly wouldn't judge anyone wearing Ariats but the decorative boots would get a guy roasted by me.

I work in a law office in Atlanta and I occasionally see dudes like me wearing nice ropers or something.
I've done it, though now I've got some chelsea boots that are easier and probably more office friendly.
I wouldn't wear actual cowboy boots or most Ariat styles unless your office is totally casual. I know nice cowboy boots work in Texas but it would be weird here.
