re: Do people not know how to act at a dang gas station anymore?

I like how pissed off people get when you honk at them for sitting at a green light staring at their phone.

Instead of thinking "oops, my bad" they get pissed at you for telling them the light's green and to move their arse.

If it's a slow enough pump you can usually go in the store with it on auto and come out just as it's done filling up your tank. Of course this depends on how busy the station is and if there are other empty pumps. But there is a way to do this without being an inconsiderate a-hole.

People who use pumps as parking spaces should be executed

Trashy people like to hang out at the gas station. Have no idea why. They just loiter around outside, inside, guess they have nothing better to do.

I can't remember the last time I went inside just to pay for gas.
Tap phone to pump and pump.
I do hate people that park at the pump anywhere but Buccees(is OK when you have 100 pumps)

There’s a shell station near my house that’s easy to get in and out of. Their gas is known to be 3 cents higher than everyone else in town. I spend the extra 60 cents and don’t have to deal with the regular convenience store people.

I work offshore and the wife works a half mile away two days a week. We live in town. We do most of our town running in the golf cart. Grocery store, bank, pick up food orders, etc are almost all done on the cart. I do go buy beer at a store that’s frequented by trashy people. I really feel at home there, since I’m trashy adjacent.
