Seems like it's one of the games that got put on the shelf due to injury risk along with dodgeball and red rover.

more of a collegiate gymnastic sport these days.

Nope. Because they don't know which team to put the tranny child on

I went to elementary school in the 80s and never remember tug of war as part of the pe curriculum. That is more of something that was done on field days and at camp.

kids today are beefier than they've ever been...This should be the golden age of PE tug of war

No bc someone would be the winner and today everybody is a winner

My kids do it every year at field day. Class v Class.

They don't even play dodgeball at our school any more. Too much chance that a child may actually be struck by a ball.
I can't even fathom not having had dodgeball when I was a kid. that was the one thing that made PE bearable you know Friday was Dodgeball day.

partially correct, the real issue is it is too difficult for the PE teacher to pick teams (because he/she are dealing with their own pedosexual issues) so the contest ends in a tie so no one's feelings get hurt and everyone is a winner...

Left swipe right swipe is now considered PE
So no is the answer
So no is the answer

Nope. It’s bullying against the weak kids, it’s rope so it’s racist, it’s gender discrimination because it makes females look weak, there can’t be a participation trophy because there is a defined winner.
It’s a nope on so many levels

What about Red Rover?
Surprised no one ever got decapitated or had an arm pulled out of their socket

They play "Pull of Peace" where the object is to line up the center of the rope perfectly even with a line on the ground.
