I'll ask my butler to ask the motor carriage-tender boy.

latex gloves
Only the poors still use latex gloves. I'll throw on a pair of nitrile gloves when changing my own oil. It's a lot quicker than scrubbing with Dawn soap after.

yep
I like to keep my hands as clean as possible these days, so I use nitrile gloves most of the time doing any real work.
My guitar strings last longer.

Only candy assed men wear gloves to keep nasty grease from getting under their pretty little nails. This is what's wrong with America and they are part of the problem

and what self-respecting grown arse adult male doesn't own an air compressor?

Only when changing the oil in my truck. If you have never changed the oil in a diesel engine, it comes out blacker than Deion Sanders and is a pain to get off.
Working in healthcare, I have to wear latex gloves frequently and my hands sweat like crazy with them on.

No, and not when I clean the toilet or mess with the bbq pit or even dice up tabasco peppers from the garden. But hell yes when I put new oil in my tiki torches. The oily soot on those things would stain my fingers for days otherwise.

Not commenting on this soy boy.
However get ceramic brake pads. Much less dust. Brought to you by a man that doesn’t wear gloves to work on his vehicles. You’re welcome.

I hardly ever wear gloves when working on anything around the house.
The only exceptions are if I'm digging a lot of holes in the yard, doing some heavy trimming on rose bushes or removing my 60+ okra plants at the end of the season. Those damn okra plants can get to be 2-3 inches in diameter and are rooted pretty deep into the ground by season's end. Oh, and the gloves are far from latex-----they are leather.

latex? no. Nitrile, yes.
Use them for oil changes and other greasy vehicle jobs.
Preparing raw meat
Painting in the house sometimes

Well I'm an helicopter mechanic and some of the oils and greases and fluids that I'm exposed to is much more toxic than anything you ever mess with fricking around with cars so yes I wear nitrile gloves, depending on the maintenance task.
