Harry Potter World at Universal is on par with Disney...too bad the rest of the property is pretty trashy.

Right. They did one section really well. Disney builds bathrooms that look like this.

You haven't lived until you try drinking around the world at Epcot.

That's what I was saying earlier in this thread. For what you have access to once you're through the gates it's actually a pretty good deal. It's about the same price as the bigger SEC football games.

Interestingly, on the same day regular admissions prices increased, Disney added a $20 online discount for passes of three days or more. As the industry publication ThemeParkInsider.com noted, two-day pass prices at Walt Disney World in Florida actually decreased as well, from $202 to $199.

Seems like Disney is trying to raise prices on the people who buy single day tickets, which would mostly be people who go on vacation and stay at random Orlando hotel and do one day each at Disney, Seaworld, Universal Studios, etc....and make it look like a better value to do an entire vacation at Disney so they can make money from you on the hotel, 3 meals a day, and more shopping

I will never understand the hate for Disney. If it is not your thing, then fine, don't go.

No reason to hate on it. Especially people that have never been.\

Everyone has different tastes. That is what is wrong with the entire country these days. It's you either agree with what i have to say or we may as well be at war.

It's OK to have different opinions people.

I'm not hating on Disney...we go about every 3 years or so. Just saying that they're raising one day ticket prices but lowering prices on some of the multi-day passes. Makes the multi-day passes look like a better deal so people are more inclined to either buy multi-day pass instead of single day or to just have their entire vacation at the Disney resort instead of hopping around to all the other Orlando parks and attractions. Either way, the more days Disney gets you to go to their parks, the more money they'll get you to spend shopping and eating in their parks.

So, in other words, Disney is making good business decisions.

For a moderate for a family of four for 4nights and a three day park hopper for each and a meal plan it's around $3500.

It's not that bad.

Because of that one section, the new stuff they are doing is a lot better. They are actually getting decent traffic because of Potter and are investing more into the new stuff as they update the park. It's never going to be Disney, but it's coming along as they update the parks.

You need a group of South Americans blocking path ways to everything in your Disney pic too.

took my son to Disney it was cool and the cost doesn't bother me but I don't see the appeal after you've gone once. Some people go every weekend for months which is insane

There's a big difference between only going once, and going every weekend.

I think it's about a one every 5 year thing for me. Any more than that and it kind of loses it's luster

Does Disney offer the financing package with the 29% APR and 72 month term?

I just got back from taking my kids, 4&7, for the first time. I went ~4-5 times growing up. It's definitely not as much fun as an adult.

AK is pretty good and MK is solid as always. Epcot needs a desperate upgrade outside of the countries. Like bad.

They keep raising the prices on tickets, but rooms are pretty reasonable.
