And the last several Terminator movies killed the franchise and the production company that made them, only to make another attempt in a few years.
It is one of those franchises which should have burned out after T2 instead of fading away with a bunch of mediocre sequels.

Let me look into my crystal ball..... I see that this movie will be a tremendous flop and Disney will lose at least $150 million.. The director and actors will blame racism and white supremacy. However it will get 90% on rotten Tomatoes.

I’m 100% convinced the powers that be at Disney are purposely doing everything they can to drive the company into bankruptcy. That’s the only logical explanation because no one can be this stupid.

Anne Bonny would be a great idea for a a Pirates concept, and Sophie Turner would be a dead ringer.
However, Turner has the charisma of a lampshade, and that idea was already done in Black Sails. So forget all of this and ditch the IP entirely.
