No doubt. Many were already showing rust as they were being unloaded from the truck.

Shhh they are shockingly cheap on the used market.

Always loved these

2 Door Z71 Tahoe was GOAT. But this was also the ultimate Lap Vehicle. I'd drive one today.

For real, why can't we have S10s, mighty Max's, Isuzu spacecabs, and the OG rangers anymore. I don't want to pay full size price for a mid size truck, give me a small utility pickup for a fair price and I'll buy it. Also I agree on the Xterra. I miss my 05.

My dad drove one of these bad boys growing up. I dunno how we were able to fit in the back seats as kids.

My favorite "car" that I've ever owned, '73 model. Paid $3600 for it brand new, kept it two years and got $2,400 on trade-in.

Id go buy one today if they came out.

I would, too- they had WAY more leg and cargo room than it’s ‘larger’ 4 door counterpart.

My brother's first new car was a '72 Maverick.

Ford Explorer Sport Trac — ride of an SUV with the occasional convenience to haul light loads as a truck. It suffers from an identity crisis since it is a SUV and not a truck, but it is a handy vehicle and it fits in a garage.

i wish they had the original toyota mini trucks again, the kind you got 35 mpg and you can just extend your arm without reaching and unlock the passenger door. trucks that dont need built in steps or even ladders coming out the tailgate just so you can access the bed use. if standing normally the bed rails sit right at elbow level instead of the shoulder height they all are today

I agree. Even the B2200 or s10 in the mini. Perfect camp truck, or 1st truck for kids.

Guess I’ll go with the Subaru Brat then

the baja made no sense at all, for all the usable space in its bed, it was just a boxy 4 door sedan without a lid on the trunk

now the brat was the ticket, those you could use to haul stuff, they were like japans version of the chevy elcamino or ford ranchero
