Exactly. And he’s probably eaten a bunch of them. And deer. And other gators too.

Its gator season. Open to the public via lottery/tag system. If it was killed just to sink to the bottom and rot, that would be a travesty. If it's harvested to make some tough arse finger foods and a few belts and boots.... Game on. No different that killing Ole Bell the 15yo heifer cow and filling the freezer with beef or Hulk the Turdy (30)pt Buck, as long as it's harvested within regulation.

Why would it be necessary to capture and kill a gator that old? That’s disgusting behavior.

Where am I to get the skin for my alligator boots, wallet, belt, and watch band all from the same animal?

I'm told that 800lb tree shakers can be hauled into the boat with one hand.

I’m glad this gator is gone from Lake St. John. I seen this gator last year when I was out test driving a boat. This is something I will never forget for sure. There still some big ones out there on Lake St. John,” Gauthier added. I'm no animal rights kind of guy but frick this statement. That's the dude's home, you're the intruder.

Yeah we went through this shite a couple of weeks ago in our neighborhood. We have a small lake that is connected to a bayou and a handful of people were losing their shite because a couple of gators showed up. The horror! Gators showing up in a lake connected to a bayou. One lady even made the comment “In my opinion an alligator has no business roaming around a residential neighborhood!”

Well one complaint of a gator “staring” at a family cat and the gator growing 3 feet at a time later we have a dead 11 foot gator being brought out of the lake by hunters hired by the LWF to remove the threat.

The largest alligator to ever be recorded was found on Marsh Island, Louisiana. It measured 19 feet and 2 inches and weighed 2,200 lbs.

I’ve seen a gator once that triggered the primordial instincts in me. I felt like prey. It was a monster.

I think it’s on the north end. I remember years ago on a handful of good mushrooms and a beautiful full moon night, slow toodlin my pontoon boat through there listening to a fire version of WSP -Travelin’ Light. Good time was had that night, gator eyes everywhere. Mushrooms made me feel like I had stepped back in time back in that swampy cut. Highly recommend.

Until you fall into the water because you’re drunk and trippin. The only way they will find you is by cutting open gator guts.

Like the lady that was appalled that deer weren't crossing at the deer crossing sign.

That’s not anything that I would ever allow to happen. And I never said I was drinking.

If I could post pictures I can show yall some monsters. Some I know, him and two other guys had 38 tags this past Friday they killed 8. Three of them are huge.

They go in the spillway and this past weekend they took some people out who have never been alligator hunting and the guy I am referring to, he shot an alligator and something hit his leg. He thought the gun ricocheted, he sent me a picture. It looked like a gun shot. He drove himself to the hospital and it was pieces of the alligator's skull that was in his leg.

I can't get my imgur account to post. What is the best picture host site to used for the board?

We need to see those pictures if you’ve got them.
