Maybe they/them shouldn’t have such limp ankles.

The other day when it was raining i drove into a deep pit and got my car stuck. Had to put it in low 4x4 and rock it out to get it unstuck.
Roads in the city are horrible.
I then went and fpund cones and blocked off the hole.

This is why most Americans would never survive in the rest of the world.

The road is under construction, and there are multiple levels (or planes) from the sidewalk down to the road. There were no cones, tape, or warnings. Obviously, there is pain, loss of wages, and medical bills. Any recommendations on who to talk to in NOLA that may be best to help them.

You and your 'friends' need to suck start a shotgun. You're exactly what's wrong with the state of Louisiana

Maybe a physical therapist to teach them how to walk?

Has this person never walked on a New Orleans sidewalk before?

Nola doesn't pay out on those cases. Even if they lose.

Don't forget to sue the bartender for serving an obviously drunk person.

Sounds like your friend needs to lose weight and stay at home if they tripped and broke both ankles.

If I were a resident of New Orleans, I would be pissed if they weren't doing everything in their power not to pay someone for a slip/fall on a public sidewalk. Falling into an open man hole cover? You have a case. Falling because the grade changes from sidewalk to street? Nahhh.

My grandfather was hit by an RTA bus. The settlement was peanuts. Used a reputable attorney too.

If the property is owned by the City of New Orleans, he can forget about collecting a dime.

Indeed. No such thing as personal responsibility. I assume he’s looking a lawyer. Good luck with that.
