There were 38 sexual offenders in a 2 mile radius of the home. Those that had been caught- no telling how many others that had no background.

The guy got carried away, then tried to spin it as a ransom. Likely someone with a grudge that worked for/with John and had some nasty friends.

There are literally hundreds of cases where a girl/woman was raped and murdered in a much smaller house where people were present.

That and over 100 burglaries in their neighborhood in recent months. Crazy high.

Baw, if you get carried away you just leave. You do not write a rambling ransom note that provides evidence for the police to use in determining who you are.

Wasn't there a Christmas party? They probably "went to the bathroom" and unlocked an easily-accessed window somewhere

The Christmas party was at Fleet Whites house not the Ramseys house. No one but the 4 Rameseys were ever at their house.

The Whites were huge supporters of the Rameseys until there was a fight due to Fleet being against using lawyers and not talking to the police. After the fallout John told the police that Fleet White was his #1 suspect for killing JonBenet. Fleet was the person that was also with John when he found the body.

118,000 is a good question- but John immediately told the cops that this was the amount of his bonus when they were reading the ransom note. Why draw attention if you're covering something up?

It would have been more suspicious for John not to have told them that was the amount of his bonus and then the police finding out later. It also could have been done to try and draw the attention of the police to anyone that knew his business dealings and away from the family.

You're applying logic to an adult male that breaks into a house with the intent to rape, torture, and kill a 5 year old girl. Do you think that's the right move?

time to write a note with pen/paper from the house to throw off the family & police? ? Again, you’re looking for something that

And not just a short letter but a 3 page ransom note.

Do you? You are literally bending time and space to bring someone from the outside when the most logical person is someone from the inside.

He is also basing his opinion off of incorrect information. He thought the Christmas party was at the Ramseys.

Gary-Oliva-confesses

Boulder police says nope- he didn't do it.

quote:

Oliva, 54, has been looked at as a possible suspect Ramsey's murder before. During a 2000 arrest, law enforcement found him carrying a photo of the slain child in addition to a poem he wrote entitled "Ode to JonBenet," according to the Boulder publication Daily Camera. He was also carrying a stun gun.

They find a pic of JonBenet on him with a crazy poem written to her AND A STUN GUN.

But all because of a spider web. Nothing to see here? If the police hadn't left the house without a complete search of the home, followed proper procedure in securing the evidence... The day they were called... Leaving behind one police lady that told the father to go search again...

The spider web thing could be the key issue pointing to the family but they miss the body in the basement but see a spider web to take pictures? I was not aware of the web being on the bottom of the window.

The whole thing is quite strange.

The Ramsey's were cleared with DNA. But it seems it was a shoddy investigation. So who knows?

quote:

In the 2008 letter, Lacy hung her hat on newly discovered touch DNA found on JonBenet's long johns, which she said was found to belong to an unknown male. Lacy argued that this unknown male DNA matched DNA found in two spots of blood in the crotch of JonBenet's panties. The unknown male DNA, reasoned Lacy, was the smoking gun that pointed to JonBenet's killer and that killer was not anyone in her family. Family members and 200 other potential suspects were excluded from the unknown male DNA found on the panties and long johns, she said.

A man confesses, had photos and a poem to JonBenet and a stun gun.

There is a reason why for 30 years people have been asking 'who killed JonBenet?'

The police screwed everything up on day one, clear the Ramsey's but get pissed at the detective that cleared them. And dismiss a confession from a sicko.

While it screams it was an inside job. They also studied the damned spider and it's web and that points it back to an inside job.

Who killed JonBenet?

not sure if her brother did it or not, but that spaced out look and creepy smile is pretty disturbing.

If the Boulder PD doesn't screw up the crime scene the Ramsey's lawyers and their connections may not have been enough to save them.

I think Burke did it.

I hope his dad has an emotional breakdown on his death bed and spills his guts leaving Burke to deal with the fallout.
