There's a good interview/testimony from Luger in this, too. DDP seems like a legitimately good dude who cares about the guys he worked and traveled with for years. He seems to be living a good life these days, and Luger's quality of life has definitely improved with his help.

DDP turning helping old wrestlers into the best ads for his DDP Yoga is one of the better marketing moves by a non-professional in probably the last 15 years.

I had a gym membership to Lex’s gym in the early 2000’s. He was a beast. He’d bang out 10x315 on the incline like it was nothing. Lots of wrestlers would drop in including DDP. Also Jamal Lewis. Worked out there in the offseason. Can’t imagine trying to tackle that dude

I've met DDP. Just a cool, down-to-earth guy. He makes you feel special and I can see why he was so popular as a nightclub owner and wrestler. Extremely personable.
