Chauvin didn't kill him, but he was an over the top a-hole and optics play more than facts.
Exactly. The indifference and smugness caught on video convicted him, facts be damned.

I’m pretty sure details emerged of several documented complaints (both internal and external) of Chauvin abusing his power and pushing the limits.

Pretty sure? Seems it would be easy to find and post. 11MG was corrected pretty quickly.

Chauvin also pretty clearly choked him out. That knee to the throat was no doubt excessive.
It was in the manual wasn’t it?
Did you actually read official reports? There was doubt in autopsy on choking him out.

So what actions made him a rogue cop leading up to this incident?

Dude should have gotten off of his neck. That was plain to see. They had control, and could have maintained control in other ways.

The worst part of the Chauvin case is the damage it did to police moral and motivation across the nation.

Deserved is a strong word but mark me down as not giving a fiddlers frick about what happens to dudes that rob pregnant women at gunpoint

Derek Chauvin lives well on a beach in the Canary Islands near his co conspirator George Floyd.

I’m sorry. You’re right. Everyone like him deserves to be choked to death.
I mean the world would be a better and safer place.

Thats the part for me… after he was handcuffed… why have him laying face down? At the very least roll him over.

Its such a common sense thing that the other cop on scene even asked if they should do it and Chauvin said no
quote:
Lane asked: “should we roll him on his side?” Chauvin replied: “No, staying put where we got him.”

George Floyd had 11mg of Fentanyl in his system when he died

That is a false statement. Objectively. It was also a standard practice that all cops there were trained to use, if I am not mistaken.

“just more than Mr Floyd could take” by making it hard for him to breathe, causing stress hormones that worsened a heart condition and led to his death.
How much can anyone already dying take?
Drugs and existing stress hormones were there before restraint. They didn’t just start when restrained by Chauvin. Drug OD he did to himself, and stress hormones went out of control resisting arrest before Chauvin even arrived.
Chauvin may have ignored warnings from other cops while he was arguing with bystanders, but I can’t remember how strongly those cops informed him. What happened starting with one of the cops not being able to get a pulse was issue not the retraint.
Settlement announced to affect jury. Coercion of jury also allowed to happen.
I don’t think the cop that murdered the Australian in her own driveway or alley behind her house after she called the cops hearing another women possibly in distress got 2nd degree. Her family didn’t get as much money. There also wasn’t thugs rioting and looting for 3 months causing billions in damages and more deaths.
Democrats got what they wanted from the Summer of Love but also can’t control the beast they created as we see with hamas supporters.

Every person I’ve either handcuffed or seen handcuffed was immediately rolled over and placed Indian style.
