ESPN is providing wall to wall coverage.

This can't be repeated enough. I'd argue there has never been equal justice in this country, and there likely never will be.

That MMA "expert" witness will have a lot of pussy thrown his way

Exactly as a network dedicated to sports should.

today was a step towards equal justice. the trial showed the public that cops are not above the law, and will be held accountable for their crimes. Weeding out bad apples with that much authority is a benefit to society. removing bad apples means our freedoms are more protected from infringement by those abusing their position of authority.
interesting how far people will go to white knight for a convicted murderer. hes a felon POS who played stupid games and won stupid prizes.

Screw it, I'll take a shot at a Rev. Shartpon Poem
George was a man from Texas, that moved to Minnesota
All his homies and families, said he was a good soulja
Derek Chauvin was a cop, who thought he had all of the power
but the jury has spoken at this hour
You might know some of my poems from the Adam Sandler movies
I hope you enjoy tonight's CNN coverage, with a banana smoothie
As we fight for justice and celebrate with joy
Tonight we celebrate the life of George Floyd

And this one would have likely been swept under the rug like so many prior ones, if not for a 17 year old girl with her cell phone camera.

I could at least respect fat Al Sharpton.
Skinny Al Sharpton is such a clown.

By surrendering to the violent mob. In all sincerity this should have been declared a mistrial 4 times over.

Chauvin should have fled the country and taken up residence on some beach down south.

Murder was reasonable as he knowingly used a dangerous restraint on someone
Your beloved federal government trains us in this very restraint several times a year. Marshals, FBI, Secret Service, Capitol Police, so on and so on. Local and state police are also taught this same restraint method for a perp that's unruly and resisting.
Obviously not directly on the neck (which was pretty much disproven that Chauvin was during the trial), but on the upper back between the shoulder blades.
I don't know why you can't fricking grasp this concept and keep saying it's a "proven dangerous restraint" and the like. You have no idea what you're talking about, it happens ALL. THE. TIME. without incident.
I thought Chauvin was guilty of manslaughter at the bare minimum after watching the initial video and even saw that he could possibly meet those requirements after the trial, but to act like Murder is a fitting charge is totally disingenuous and fake as frick.
You once again have no idea what you're talking about, as you've proven continuously throughout this thread

Floyd is not saint but that cop should clearly be convicted with manslaughter or something similar.
Be careful with that around here, they love them some cops on this board.
I agree with you by the way. How about cops being held accountable. I mean, who knew you could kill someone this way?

nah cop is guilty AF. plain as day with the wealth of footage, testimony, and evidence.
remember even during the homicide, DC's colleagues were attempting to de-escalate DC, he disregarded reasonable concern for danger to life of another. DC earned every one of his convictions. play stupid games win stupid prizes
